
Yearly Awards
DON'T FORGET YOUR NOMINATIONS FOR THE YEARLY AWARDS. THEY CLOSE ON JULY 15TH.
Yearly awards are tabulated from July 1st to July 1st (awards year/calendar year) with the exception of the Best of Breed and Best of Opposites awards which are awarded at each Nationals.
Yearly Awards will be checked and tabulated by the Awards Committee. To be considered eligible for a Boykin Spaniel Club & Breeders Association of Americas Yearly Award one must be in good standing with the American Kennel Club. Application for the following award is necessary in order to be considered. Unless explicitly stated otherwise these awards pertain exclusively to results from AKC sanctioned dog shows. Any submitted application information must be forwarded before July 15th each year in order to be included with results for the Awards period.

Best of Breed Dog (Conformation)
The Best of Breed Dog (Conformation) Award will be issued to the dog winning the Best of Breed at the Nationals for that year. The dogs name and owner will appear on the perpetual trophy for that year.
Best of Opposites Dog (Conformation)
The Best of Opposites Dog (Conformation) Award will be issued to the dog winning the Best of Opposites at the Nationals for that year. The dogs name and owner will appear on the perpetual trophy for that year.
Stud Dog of the Year- APPLICATION
Stud Dog of the Year will be awarded to the dog siring the greatest number of Boykin Spaniels that were awarded any AKC or UKC titles during the awards year. One point will be awarded for each title. * AKC & UKC titles will count for the 2006-2007 year. *
Brood Bitch of the Year- APPLICATION
Brood Bitch of the Year will be awarded to the dam producing the greatest number of Boykin Spaniels that were awarded any AKC and UKC titles during the awards year. One point will be awarded for each title. * AKC & UKC titles will count for the 2006-2007 year. *
Breeder of the Year- APPLICATION
The Breeder of the Year Title will be awarded to the breeder (including co-bred litters) who finishes the year with the most BREEDER POINTS. All titles listed must be earned during the calendar year being calculated. BREEDER POINTS are awarded as follow:

It is the responsibility of the breeder or owner in question to submit the correct application to the Awards Committee with information on titles earned during the calendar year being calculated. Information regarding this, or any other category, must be forwarded before July 15th each year in order to be included with the results.
